Dreams FC vs Zamalek Prediction: This highly anticipated encounter will deprive us of goals

The Believers can become just the third team in the Ghanaian Premier League to make the final of the CAF Confederation Cup if they defeat Zamalek at the Baba Yara Sports Complex on Sunday. The reverse leg was rather disappointing for the Egyptian team, who had twenty-five shots at goal but failed to find the back of the net and must now win here to advance to the next round. It’s going to be an exciting game at the Baba Yara Stadium later tomorrow.

The Ghanaian-based team have had a decent run in this competition, and they can be proud of their performance so far. They settled for a share of the spoils in Egypt despite lots of attacking threats from their opponent. 

Dreams FC have been formidable on their ground in this campaign, winning three and sharing the spoils once. They have scored eight and conceded twice so far in front of their home supporters. Dreams experienced coach Abdul Karim Zito will be poised to make a mark in this competition, and we are backing them to scale through here.

The White Knights have been clinical in this tournament, and they’re the favourite to lift the trophy. Zamalek head here with a solid performance on their ground however, they were far from being clinical. Zamalek fired twenty-five shots and had six shots on target but couldn’t find the back of the net. It’s so obvious they were missing one of their most important players, Zizo, who was injured. 

Jose Gomes' side have been pretty solid lately, with four games without a defeat in the league. 

The White Knights have a remarkable record on the road, with four seven unbeaten records in this tournament. Zamalek have the quality to advance to the next round and must score more than enough against the visiting team. 

The reverse leg was all about the Egyptian side who tormented Dreams FC but were unfortunate not to have found the back of the net. Zamalek SC were missing the presence of their most important player, Zizo, who was out injured. At the same time, Dreams FC played their game perfectly, absorbing lots of pressure from the hosts without conceding. 

After a one-way game in Egypt, which saw Zamalek dominate and have 65% of the ball, we expect a more open encounter here, with both teams expressing themselves on the pitch of play. We think both teams will get a goal apiece here, and Zamalek will be more decisive in front of goal this time.

With the return of Zizo for Zamalek, we expect them to be stronger here; bet on Zamalek to advance.
