MC Alger vs Al Hilal Omdurman Prediction: I think this highly anticipated game might end in favor of the hosts

MC Alger will continue their mission of adding another star to their crest in this CAF Champions League when they face off against a solid Al Hilal team at the Stade du 5 Juillet Stadium on Saturday. 

The Dean remain unbeaten in this group of death as they head here with their first win in the competition against Young Africans. After a quiet halftime with no shots at goal from either end, MC Alger changed the gear after the break, scoring twice to secure all the points. This performance was after their toothless stalemate against TP Mazembe on the road. 

Patrice Beaumelle's men occupy second place on the log, picking up four points from a combined six. 

MC Alger have won this competition once, and they’ll be at their best against their opponent tomorrow.

The Sudanese giants continue to thrive against all odds as they head here with back-to-back wins in the group. A few days ago, Al Hilal Omdurman scored twice while conceding once against TP Mazembe's side. Al Hilal kicked off the game in great spirits and converted a penalty kick to draw the first blood at the break. The guests responded in the 64th minute to level; however, Jean Claude's last gasp secured Al Hilal's maximum points. 

The Blues are on a run of nineteen matches without defeat in all competitions since their failure in Tunis (1-0 last March against Espérance).

Al Hilal Omdurman has an experienced coach who understands this tournament well. 

MC Alger have been slightly above average compared to their nearly perfect run last campaign. MC Alger have been shy in front of goal, scoring seven in over eight matches in all competitions. 

They’ll face off against a team who can be dangerous on their days and we will not take the guests for granted. 

I personally think MC Alger are better, and considering they play on their home turf, I will back them to at least pick up a point here. My reason is that they have managed just a win at home in their last four games in all competitions. 

This game will produce more than a goal as the guests are capable of getting a goal here. 

I also think both teams will play with caution at the break, and the second half might witness a goal.
