RB Bragantino vs Internacional Prediction: Inter is on a winning streak

RB Bragantino and Internacional are at opposite levels of form and will meet in Bragança Paulista in a postponed match from Round 16. Red Bull has only won once in the previous nine rounds, while Inter hasn't lost for six games in Série A while winning the last four. 

In the last round of the Brasileirão, several coaches of the teams involved in the quarter-finals of the South American club competitions decided to change their starting line-ups to give some players a rest. Such was the case with Atlético Mineiro in the game against Bragantino. Atlético didn't field its best team but still won 3-0 at home against Red Bull, a humiliating result for Pedro Caixinha's men. The Massa Bruta is not having a good season and needs to turn things around, as the relegation zone isn't that far away, just three points below. The next opponent, Internacional, is one of the teams in the best form in Brazil, so Bragantino will likely have a tough time.

Unlike Bragantino, Inter took the opportunity to face a rather unusual São Paulo side and won 3-1 at the Morumbi. The expected changes to São Paulo's starting eleven and the excellent form of the Gaúchos indicated trouble for the home team. Nevertheless, it was São Paulo who scored first through Luciano after 5 minutes. However, an excellent goal from Bruno Gomes in the 42nd minute tied the game and changed the course of events. Thiago Maia in the 54th minute and Alan Patrick in the 63rd minute completed the turnaround and left the Tricolor Paulista without a reaction. The Colorado climbed to eighth place with 41 points but has two games in hand, one of them being the upcoming meeting with Bragantino. Internacional will be looking for a fifth straight win full of confidence.

Bragantino suffered a disappointing 3-0 defeat against Atlético Mineiro in Belo Horizonte, and its confidence isn't the best. On the other hand, Internacional is going through the best moment of the season, with four wins straight. In the last round, the Gaúchos beat São Paulo 3-1 away and are confident of winning again on the road against Red Bull. I'm betting on a Double Chance in favor of Internacional with a maximum of three goals scored in the match.
