Atl. Lusaka vs Red Arrows Prediction: The two teams will not have things easy

In round 14 of the Zambia Super League, Atl. Lusaka will play the Red Arrows at Nkoloma Stadium. This will be the first-ever meeting between these sides in the top flight. How will they approach it?

Atl. Lusaka returned to winning ways the previous time out in the league against Lumwana Radiants. In a game that ended 0-2, Francis Mutalange and Godwin Chipanama's strikes were enough to seal maximum points for this side. However, prior league games to that win saw Atl. Lusaka go four matches without a win. In that run, Atl. Lusaka lost to FC MUZA and Kabwe Warriors while drawing Nchanga Rangers and Mufulira. This season, Atl. Lusaka have accumulated 17 points from 13 matches, leaving them seated in the 11th spot. 

Red Arrows were held to a draw the previous time out and will hope for a better result this time. In a game that ended 1-1, Red Arrows had to come from behind to avoid a defeat, thanks to 84th minute Michee Malonga’s strike. However, the Red Arrows have failed to win any of their last four league games, losing to Nkana and Nchanga Rangers in that run. This season, the Red Arrows have 19 points from 13 matches, leaving them in the 9th spot in the standings. 

This is a tough test for Atl. Lusaka, despite the fact they are at home. Despite the fact that the Red Arrows are struggling and finding it difficult to find their rhythm, the visiting team can not still be written off against a low or newly promoted side. This is a flip of a coin, as the two teams are playing on the same level. Yet, I expect Red Arrows to exploit Atl. Lusaka's weak defence in a game that should end with few goals.
