China vs Haiti Prediction: The Asian Giant will be too strong for the debutant

On Friday, China will square off with Haiti at the Coopers Stadium in Australia. The Steel Roses have made it past the group stages at every World Cup they have played, even reaching the final in 1999 before losing to the United States. Their impressive pedigree at this competition should be enough to secure their passage to the knockout phase.

Haiti are still the favorite to finish bottom of this group below their more experienced opponents. Still, more performances like that give them an opportunity of being this World Cup's breakout nation.

China have been a force in this competition but lacked sharpness in their opening game. I still think they deserved a point, at least against Denmark. Haiti were remarkable against England despite the defeat. Les Grenadières' team played like pros in the competition after going toe to toe with the reigning European champions. It will be a different ball game against the Steel Roses, who have qualified for the knockout phase since their debut in this tournament. Haiti played well against England, but we are not sure they can keep up with such a performance. I believe China's pedigree in this competition will stand them out; bet on a home win for 1.70.
