ESEA Premier Season 39 is an online league organized by ESEA. North American and European regional winners from each ESEA Premier Season will receive a direct invite to the upcoming ESL Pro League, plus Australian and New Zealand teams will have the chance to become part of the ESL Pro League. This strengthens the ESL Pro Tour Challenger level and allows teams to progress to the ESL Pro Tour Masters level for a chance to win a superb $50,000 prize pool and the title of ESEA Season 39 champion in 2021. The tournament is divided into two groups of nine teams. The group stage is played in a round-robin system (everybody plays everybody). The playoff stage will be played in a double-elimination bracket (any team will face the loser in a parallel match and be allowed to continue). The VO5 grand final will be played with a one-card advantage for the team from the top draw.

The tournament is in full swing, the group stage has already crossed the equator, and we’ll soon know all the participants in the playoffs. The teams from first to fourth place in the groups qualify for the playoffs.

Movistar Riders: Are the Spaniards on their way to Tier-1?

The Riders have proved to the world that they can play strong CS. They are an uncomfortable opponent for any team from the top ten, let alone representatives of a lower division. They must now win game after game to gain experience and qualify for the big tournaments, where they can fight stronger opponents. Therefore, they understand that and will be motivated not to give up their game. This year they have reached a level their club has never reached before - they have reached the majors (PGL Major Stockholm 2021). The squad has everything to win this match because their opponent is not in the best condition. After a great performance in the rmr-tournament and not bad in the major (PGL Major Stockholm 2021), the guys gave up a bit and won more easily. But to confidently defeat the Portuguese squad, which has already never been at the top of the world CS:GO, and now generally catch the loss streak seven games, it should suffice.

The latest replacement in the roster was the replacement of British sharpshooter Owen “smooya” Butterfield with his compatriot Alvaro “SunPayus” Garcia.

Their highest ranking on hltv is 14th in the world. Currently, they are ranked 18th in the world.

The best map is nuke, with a win rate of 87% in 15 maps played.

SAW: Will they take the prestige point?

The team has had its ups and downs, but now they are playing frankly poorly. The game is going straight out of their hands in recent matches, and they look faded against their opponent. They have not won a single match in the tournament. The only victory they got was against the Turks from Eternal Fire due to the latter’s no-show at the tournament. Therefore, fighting in this tournament makes no sense for them apart from their ambitions.

They’ve been competing at the same level for several years now, and there’s a feeling that they’ve reached their “ceiling” and it’s not always possible to compete with the “young and promising”.

The latest replacement was the return of captain Omar “arki” Chakkor.

The top-ranking according to hltv is 21st in the world. The current ranking is 59th.

The best map is ancient, with a win rate of 70% for ten maps played.
