BIG vs 9 Pandas Prediction: BIG has BIG problems. Will 9Pandas take advantage of this?

BIG has not been considered a tier-1 team for a long time. In the past, tabseN participated in tier-1 tournaments and even played in the finals, but now the top achievements are wins at the CCT North Europe. In the S tournaments on CS2, BIG reached the playoffs of the Thunderpick World Championship 2023 in the weakest group, losing to Cloud9.

The switch to CS2 has slowed BIG's development as a team. In September, the team reached the ESL Pro League Season 18 playoffs, defeating Monte, ENCE, and Heroic. Since October, the German team has joined the tier-2 scene. Dust2 used to be the signature map for BIG, but the Germans started playing Vertigo much more often: 22 maps and a 77% win rate in the last three months. The most damage on the map is done by Captain TabseN - 82 per game.

At the last event, 9Pandas showed inspiring numbers: 61% win rate in all rounds, 41% in 4x5 situations, glowiing, and iDISBALANCE were among the top 3 all-tournament players with ratings of 1.36 and 1.26. 9Pandas had only one loss out of ten maps against FURIA Esports. All opponents were in the HLTV top 20, with Eternal Fire just outside the top 10. Over the last three months, their best performance was on Overpass: 78% win rate across 28 maps. But opponents can turn to Ancient: 25% for 24 maps if they need wins. Pandas might move up a few positions after the HLTV rankings are updated on Tuesday. 

BIG is more experienced in tournaments. 9Pandas has had great success in the last month. For the Germans, tabseN plays a leading role in the outcome, while for the Pandas, two players can influence the result of the match. Considering that 9Pandas has recently beaten all top 20 teams, we can expect another victory.
