Golden State Warriors vs Dallas Mavericks Prediction: Two teams that need a lot of correction

The NBA season is on and this has been another fascinating season with the trade deadline approaching at a steady rate. Shams and Woj already dropped a bomb informing that Nets’ scintillating Guard Kyrie Irving is requesting a trade. Anyway, in this Regular Season game, the Golden State Warriors are going to take on the Dallas Mavericks.

The Warriors are coming into this game after losing 117:134 against the Denver Nuggets despite a 28 points performance by Stephen Curry. They have lost two in a row and their troubles away from home keep on piling up. They have lost 20 and have won just seven games on the road. Strangely, their record against the +50 % win team has been better than -50% win team has been better. However, overall, the team has let the fans down after winning the championship last season. 

The Mavericks come into the game after defeating a struggling Pelicans 111:106 as Luka Doncic compiled 31 points. They have won two in a row but both have been against teams that have lost a ton lately. Overall, they have 28 wins and 25 losses, a record that took a hit due to the lean patch where they lost eight of 11 games. Doncic is making a mockery of defenses but the overall offense for the Mavs lacks the required balance. Will this team be able to make a deep run like last season?

The Mavs have been in need of depth on the offensive end whereas the Warriors have been struggling too much on the defensive end which opens up avenues for quality offensive options. At home, the Warriors have a much more impressive record, and the questionable designation of Green, Curry, and Thompson makes it a little tricky so their availability is central to the conversation here. I see a close game with the Warriors edging out in the final moments because the Mavs are missing Doncic and Wood while Dinwiddie is Questionable.
