In that series, this team scored 13 runs, the most since August, when they scored 11 against the Oakland Athletics in game 2. However, prior series to this were not good for the Philadelphia Phillies as they lost to the Miami Marlins and Arizona Diamondbacks. The Philadelphia Phillies remain top of the National League with a 71-50 record, pulling off a 0.587 percentile. 

The Washington Nationals were overpowered in the opener of this series, and it is up to them to show what they can do. In the opener, this team scored just three runs, a poor one, as they lost by ten runs. However, this team has not shown character in most of their recent series, as they only defeated the Los Angeles Angels while losing to the San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles, and Arizona Diamondbacks. The Washington Nationals head into this game with a 55-67 record and have moved to fourth in the National East Division. 

The Washington Nationals have much to do defensively in this series after being demolished in the opener. However, I have seen the Philadelphia Phillies do it like this on their best days, and I feel they still have the chance to dominate this series. I expect this one to be a more balanced encounter compared to how poor the Washington Nationals were, but the Phillies should still win by a good margin.
