Cleveland Guardians will enter the new season with hopes after a poor run of games into the season. In the previous season, Cleveland Guardians finished 5th in the American Football Conference with 11 wins from 17 matches. However, Cleveland Guardians did not get past the round ⅛ as they lost to the Houston Texans 45-14. In the preseason, Cleveland Guardians lost each of their encounters, coming against the Green Bay Packers, Minnesota Vikings, and Seattle Seahawks. 

The Dallas Cowboys will enter the new season with hopes of making the playoffs. Last season in the National Conference League, the Dallas Cowboys finished top of the standings with 12 wins while losing 5. However, this team could not get past the round ⅛ in the playoffs, as they lost to the Green Bay Packers 32-48. In their preseason matches into the new season, the Dallas Cowboys lost to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, with their lone victory being against the Las Vegas Raiders. 

I will take the Dallas Cowboys to win this game. I feel this is an open game for the two teams to grab, and despite the Cleveland Guardians being at home, I do not see them as a threat. With a poor preseason from the two teams, I feel the Cowboys are still the better team to win this one, and with poor defensive issues from both teams, I will back the road team with many points.
