Gremio president Alberto Guerra spoke out about the health problems of 36-year-old Uruguayan striker Luis Suarez, pointing out his achievements.

Suarez has been with Gremio since January 2023. The player's contract with the team runs until December 31, 2024. The striker played 26 matches for the club, in which he scored 12 goals and gave eight assists.
Suarez played a total of 741 games in his career, scoring 457 goals and giving 251 assists. The Transfermarkt portal estimates the transfer value of the player at €4 million.
