He claimed he was unaware of any violations and had not received notifications about the matter. According to him, after Real Madrid offered to handle image rights, he consulted with a specialist but did not delve into the specifics.

Ancelotti is accused of tax evasion, only declaring his club salary from 2014 to 2015 and omitting other earnings. Media reports suggest his owed amount exceeds €1 million.
