Premier Boxing Champions has announced a boxing event in Las Vegas taking place on June 1. Former world champions Jermall Charlo and Caleb Plant will participate in the event, aiming for a fight against each other later this year if they win their respective bouts.

Plant will face off against Jose Armando Resendiz, while Charlo will take on Thomas LaManna.

Charlo last fought against Jose Benavidez Jr. in November 2023. That match, which went the distance, ended with Jermall winning by unanimous decision. He currently holds a record of 33 wins (22 by knockout) and no losses.

Plant last stepped into the ring against Trevor McCumby in September 2024. That match, which was stopped in the ninth round, ended in Caleb's favor by technical knockout. His record includes 23 wins (14 by knockout) and 2 losses.
