Undisputed world champion in the light heavyweight division Dmitry Bivol told marvelbetgames.com in an exclusive interview that he has considered unifying all the titles in the cruiserweight division.
There was a little thought. Why not? To hear 'you will be the undisputed world champion in professional boxing' when I was an amateur… I simply wouldn't believe it, especially when I saw myself fighting a shadow in the mirror. I'm really not a professional boxer. I have an amateur technique. And now it seems like it might be unrealistic to be a cruiserweight champion, but anything is possible.
Currently, the champions in the cruiserweight division are Sweden's Badou Jack (WBC), Australia's Jai Opetaia (IBF), and Mexico's Gilberto Ramirez (WBA and WBO). Notably, Jack and Ramirez had previously held titles in the super middleweight division but were unable to win titles while competing in the light heavyweight division.
